Hi! I just arrived home! I went to a Con and I bought my Earthian volume 4 -finally T_T-
Now, that quote above is from the manga! I must say this: Yun Kouga Sensei, She may not write new or very original phrases, but she sure knows how to use them! She is particularly good at setting the mood and making everything sound very profound.
While I was reading it I felt some of that sweet pain love gives you. To be exact I was pleasurably suffering. And that's because what it's written in Earthian are things that most of us have thought, but it's amazing reading word by word, having it stated so directly. I'm not in love right now, but the plot and the way Kouga sensei draw and write those human feelings in such an elegant and subtle way it's just delighting, and yeah I can feel a bit of the emotion I have when liking someone -I'm so pathetic LOL-
About the story itself, It's wonderful how Yun Kouga likes to portrait "impossible love". Earthian as well as Loveless are a collection of impossible loves. BTW many people think that Loveless is yaoi, but in truth it is not! It's just a story about bonds, and hey, there are so many different bonds as there is people in the world right! and the most interesting ones are those that society condemns. Also talking about "love", it is very interesting how she can portray very passionate and erotic love without it be very sexual or explicit.
I'm very satisfied as you can see XD Please don't read Yun Kouga works lightly, pay proper attention to what is written, you may not get to know the purpose of life, but you'll definitely find something you'll identify yourself with.
